We’re extremely proud to be entirely family-owned. This gives us the freedom to surpass expectations and think outside the cube by being passionate, creative, innovative and daring. It also supports caring and respecting our people. We are proud to welcome all new team members to be part of the brightsolid family.
We believe our mission should be everyone’s mission, so in 2010 we brought all members of brightsolid together to review the year gone by and asked our colleagues what they felt had gone well and what could be improved. During an intense day, we developed the mission of the company and asked the team for their ideas for areas of future growth. We then asked how each team could help us break into those growth areas. This allowed collaboration to create business plans, based on our overall vision and goals. We meet at least every three months to review these, check progress and discuss what is next.
In the same vein, we decided that, rather than imposing company values that we wanted on the team, we would ask the team what values they thought the company should have. We stand absolutely behind the results. Our values define us internally and to the outside world. They are our common goals and the way we work together. Our values are demanding and can be difficult to get right, However, we see them as fundamental to our success. We set high standards for ourselves, and we all get a lot of fun out of trying to reach them. We hope you do, too.
