Brightsolid are delighted to announce that they have partnered with Microtech Group, specialists in the delivery of complementary end-to-end IT services to the public, private and third sector.
Brightsolid is Scotland’s only dedicated and complete colocation and managed cloud solutions company. Brightsolid’s locations, connectivity and credibility, combined with a wealth of industry experience means they are first choice as trusted advisors and partners to help Scotland’s public and private sectors realise the full potential and business benefits of the cloud.
Microtech Group’s Telehealth offering is now hosted on Brightsolid’s robust private cloud platform. Microtech Group’s Telehealth application is used UK wide by NHS organisations who realise the value in using technology as an enabler to support long term condition management. They took the decision to relocate the Telehealth server and database environment from a London datacentre to Brightsolid in the last quarter of 2017.
In early 2017, Microtech Group’s own private cloud and virtual private hosting offering went live. Microtech deployed their solution across two key datacentres provided by Brightsolid, one in Dundee and the other more recently in Aberdeen. The uptake of the platform has been successful and will continue to expand with customer demand.
Speaking of the partnership, Paul Mathewson, Group Technical Director of Microtech said, “Microtech Group elected to partner with Brightsolid due to their excellent reputation in Scotland and in particular, the public sector as well as having a history of consuming services from them. We know we are in a reliable pair of hands with access to a wide range of cutting edge datacentre services.”
Malcolm Smith, Chief Sales Officer at Brightsolid said “Brightsolid are delighted to partner with Microtech, to deliver this scalable and secure Cloud Hosting platform for their Telehealth application. This builds upon our existing relationship to jointly deliver a wide range of secure, resilient and innovative Cloud and Hosting services to public, private and third sector organisations.”
