Business owners, technology leaders, developers and those involved in new enterprise and start-ups are being encouraged to attend a free Amazon Web Services (AWS) user meet-up taking place in Dundee on Wednesday 22nd February.
Held at DC Thomson, the evening of networking and knowledge sharing, is based around the AWS ethos of fostering friendly and open peer-to-peer communities and follows on from a very successful inaugural event held last year.
On the night attendees will have a chance to hear from two expert guest speakers, James Bungard, Solutions Architect at AWS and Barry Parkin, Cloud Engineer at Brightsolid. Each will present and answer questions on the insightful and topical themes of Security and Compliance and the multi-purpose IAC tool, Terragrunt.
Commenting on the event, attendee and group member Darren Purvis said: “A lot of people are excited about the second AWS user group event for the North-East of Scotland. This is a fantastic opportunity for those of us involved in the field to come together, share best practice, discover new innovations, and feel inspired.
“The first event demonstrated a real demand for such a group where individuals can tap into all the benefits, tools, and technologies of AWS. The continued evolution of the meetup group will no doubt enhance career growth and skills for all attendees.”
The event which includes free drinks and pizza will start at 6pm and is open to all, from beginners to expert and advanced AWS users, the more diverse the experience the greater and more valuable the discussion!
Whilst it is free please register in advance at Event #2 – AWS User Group NE Scotland, Wed, Feb 22, 2023, 6:00 PM | Meetup
