This week two of the brightsolid family members, Graeme Snee and Stephen Barrie, celebrate their ten year anniversary with the company. We are delighted to use this milestone to reflect on their great achievements and hard work with the organisation.
Both have held various roles at brightsolid before being promoted to Senior Systems Engineers and have close to 30 years IT experience between them.
When they first joined the company brightsolid was known as Scotland Online and operated both the FindmyPast and ScotlandsPeople websites. Over the last decade they have been part of many exciting changes in the organisation and over the last 12 months, along with the rest of the brightsolid family, have been working towards getting our new Tier III data centre in Aberdeen ready for launch on the 1st of October.
Reflecting on his journey with brightsolid Graeme says, “I began my journey with Scotland Online as a Customer Service desk advisor, swiftly moving to Internal IT and now working with our customers implementing and supporting hosted solutions. It’s been a great time and I wouldn’t want to be anywhere else, so here is to the next 10 years.”
While Stephen adds, “Comparing brightsolid now with Scotland Online when I joined ten years ago, I can see massive change and progress. At that time we were building our first data centre, now we are about to open our Aberdeen facility. I am proud that over the years we have been consistent in the excellence of services we provide and the dedication of our team to delivery and improvement.”
Congratulations to them both on reaching their ten year milestones!
