As a business, Brightsolid continues to operate at stage 1 of our COVID-19 plan to support customer needs. We are now easing our restrictions on emergency access to both our Aberdeen and Dundee data centres, however customers must continue to request a pre-arranged time slot to carry out work on these sites.
The health and safety of our employees and customers remains paramount and we continue to work to ensure seamless continuity of service to our customers during this period.
With respect to access of the data centre, the following measures have now been put in place:
- All access must be pre-arranged using the normal access request process.
- As a business, we are currently following all government guidelines around social distancing and ask that our customers please do the same.
- We can now permit more than one customer on site at any one time, provided required access is on opposite sides of the data centre. Social distancing of 2m is still required at all times.
- All personnel must wear a face covering at all times whilst working within the data centre and we ask that you bring your own. We are not able to provide face coverings for you. Wearing of additional PPE is at your own discretion.
- Customers are now able to access washrooms and toilets but please be advised that kitchen and breakout areas are not available to customers at this time.
Please also note that if you have had contact with somebody with COVID-19 or have any of the following symptoms: a new and continuous cough, a fever or high temperature, a loss of, or change in taste or smell, then you will not be permitted access into our Data Centres.
If you require any additional information or have any questions in relation to any of the above, then please don’t hesitate to contact us at enquiries@brightsolid.com.
